The Italian, Milan-based goth alternative band Fourth Heaven comes back for an advanced review of their new upcoming song Mercy. Here is the review!
A review of Fourth Heaven’s Mercy from their new EP, or called an Extended Play with fever songs, the album is due for an April 2026 release date.
Mercy
The introduction of the song comes into a good female vocal, then the drums, guitars blast, and other assorted sounds in a strong roar with a fast rhythm. The chants and wails from the singer continue from start to finish. Ending in vibrant chants and blasting beats.

I like the tempo and vocal range of the singer. She has a lot of energy in her voice. The song’s lyrics have a good and steady rhythm. The storytelling is awesome and like a play or a well-woven tale of expression and raw emotion. In a tale in its own story or mythology.
With such passion and a stronger tempo as the song progresses. I am reminded that this band, to me, is a faster version of Switchblade Symphony mixed with a tribal sound. I like her low and high vocals. It is constantly at a good pace and reminds me of a time from quite a few good soundtracks that this song would fit into if I could.
I like this type of modern sound because it has a good beat and lets the listener decide on the storytelling, and it is extremely enjoyable and energetic. Good for a certain club to dance to or just enjoy at home or wherever the mood fits. I love loud music, especially one as orchestrated and fast as this song.
I like the tone of the song and the complexity of the music, which flows pretty well with the singer’s tempo as you go through it passionately throughout the song. I like that it keeps going fast and energetic all the way through until the end, and just keeps up at a good speed.

In conclusion, it is a pretty awesome song that I will probably play while playing Doom: Eternal on my ps5 or my actual full playthrough of Resident Evil: Requiem. I find it that god and I wonder what inspired such a song to be created. The song’s vocal rhythm is up and down with a mesmerizing tone. I will definitely be adding them to my Spotify as my favorite band. This band is definitely worth checking out for a full listen through several times. This will be added to a few of my playlists for sure. Fourth Heaven is an awesome blend of older goth 90’s vibes mixed with modern day goth rock and a spice of industrial music.
This made it a good and enjoyable experience for me to listen to from start to finish.
