This is a press kit release with 2 tracks by Fourth Heaven, which is an Alt. Italian industrial/Alt.Metal band from Italy. This is a track from their debut album from 2025.
The song Priestess is a fast-moving song, clocking in at about 3:36 minutes. It’s a fast-paced song with a female vocalist in a pleasant sound range, probably a soprano. The song starts off at a good speed and later progresses into a faster and more complex beat of electronic mixed with instruments .
I love the theme of the song in its message of a reverse romance punishment theme and seduction. It’s a straightforward layer for the listener to enjoy.
To me, it sounds like a mix of a collaboration of speed and precision of industrial with bands such as a combination of an earlier Nine Inch Nails album from the 90’s, preferably from the EP Broken from 1992, mixed with The Birthday Massacre’s song Red Stars from their album Walking With Strangers in 2007. A raw, beautiful, and brutal sound into a pleasant mix of passion in the play of sound and words easily combined.
The tempo is fast and enjoyable to listen to as well. The singer’s voice has a good range of extending the long screams into a good rhythm.
I am not too fond of the one tempo in the middle of the song, but the guitar parts are awesome at shredding. The female singer has a good ethereal-like sound at times here and there throughout the song as it goes along.
I love the constant picking up of the guitar and this cool video game type noise in the background that plays in the song towards the end of the track.
