Sabrina Is Back On Netflix With Chilling Adventures

In the 90s and 00s, the series of Sabrina The Teenage Witch was one of the rare cute shows I watch. I had a taste for dark series, as you would guess. Now, Netflix brought back Sabrina from the dead in a unique way.

FBI Pictures — Israel Keyes Case

The Silent Serial Killer Named Israel Keyes

serial killer is typically a person who murders three or more people, usually in service of abnormal psychological gratification, with the murders taking place over more than a month and including a significant period of time between them. — Wikipedia

When you hear the word serial killer, all types of images pop in your head. Some of you may know of Ted Bundy or Wayne Gacy, but you know about these guys because of their capture. What about the ones that haven’t been caught?

How many are out there? Israel Keyes was one of those guys. He was arrested, but no one was looking for him, no one knew that he was out there murdering people, with precision and planning.

GBM Interviews Indie Author Karolyne Cronin

At Gothic Bite Magazine we love welcoming new patients to become part of our asylum. We question them and learn about them. It doesn’t matter what creative field they are part of because they’re our patient now. This week, we welcome Indie Author Karolyne Cronin!

Patient Name: Karolyne Cronin

I’m from St. Louis, Missouri, but I have lived and traveled most of the United States. I went to London last year and was inspired to spin more tales. It was a trip of a lifetime. I would love to go there again.

I fell in love with horror and gothic tales when I was five and saw Vincent Price recite The Raven. At nine, I read Stephen King’s Pet Sematary, confirming to my mom that I was just as weird as the rest of the family. My love of this genre doesn’t come from the joy of being scared. It comes exploring the dark nature of the world.

Dracula Is Alive Again On Netflix

January 10th, the day I was born, and when my mother didn’t know yet, I would be attracted to vampires and their legends. On January 9th, my husband and I decided to watch Netflix’s Dracula. It was entirely unexpected.

The Haunting of Hill House by Netflix

Netflix’s Gothic The Haunting of Hill House

The Haunting of Hill House is an eminently recommended Netflix series. It’s not like your average paranormal series. It has a psychological factor at play, and it’s one of those series you must start from the beginning and watch in order until the very end to understand the magnitude of the house’s heritage.

The Official Summary of The Haunting of Hill House

Explores a group of siblings who, as children, grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country.

Now adults, and forced back together in the face of tragedy, the family must finally confront the ghosts of their past, some of which still lurk in their minds while others may actually be stalking the shadows of Hill House.

Gothic Bite Magazine Presents

THE DEEP DARK

by: Francis J. Burns

The deep dark had come, that time between two and four a.m., when most of the world can be found clutched in the bowels of sleep. A heavy mist slithered in from the sea. Saint Theresa of the Blessed Heart Hospital was hushed. Roan settled further into his chair as he read, fleeing from the creeping chill. Beside him, Selena rested. Her breathing was slow, even, comforting in its regularity. He glanced at her every so often when the clacking of shoes on tile stirred him from his book. In the cavernous silence, the pages whispered with each turning. The story, lifted from his favorite video game series, captivated him.

Charlotte Jordan

Charlotte Jordan An Artist’s Story

Gothic Bite Magazine often shared the work of an author that we love, Jane Jordan. Most recently, she brought to our attention the work of her daughter. We guess that art is in the blood.

A British-American Girl

Sarasota artist, Charlotte Jordan was born in Michigan. As a child, she moved to England for six years and lived on the dramatically beautiful Exmoor in the South West of England. Being surrounded by natural elements and animals, gave her a passion for drawing.

Her love of art was nurtured during high school art classes, where she developed her creative style.

Vlad The Impaler An Introduction To Horror

When thinking about the most horrific names in human history, we can think of quite a few without effort. But one common denominator remains, Vlad the Impaler and here’s the introduction to horror.

The Heart of Horror

The origins of Vlad the Impaler are not known by everyone. Not many people wish to search for the darkest minds of human history.

I am one of those ‘freaks’ who devour history from people who spread terror most uniquely and strategically, preferably centuries ago. And Vlad the Impaler, as an introduction to horror, is the right place to start.

Death Is Not Evil

Okay. So I want to apologize to our subscribers. Not only have I not written an article in a while. Sorry, life happened! But also I’m about to go into a death-related rant. I apologize. On with the rant!

The Death Expert Is Back

Now, as our usual readers know, I am Gothic Bite Magazine‘s Death Expert, which means I write articles about death and whatnot. However, it has come to my attention that the media: television, movies, books, among other platforms, love to make anything related to death, evil.

And, as a Death Positivity Advocate, this irritates me. These platforms and services are why people in this part of the world, i.e., Western society, have death anxiety.

Nosferatu - 1922

Nosferatu Redeems Dracula As A Vampire

In 1922, a new vampire face took over the silver screen despite Dracula’s heir denying its right to enter the lore. But, nothing could stop Count Orlok to become a face of horror.

Nosferatu As A Vampire

When F.W. Murnau presented the idea of the movie to Bram Stoker’s estate, they refused the right to the movie.

Based upon the famous Gothic novel named Dracula, even Stoker’s heir decided to take legal action following the release of the movie despite the refusal. In other words, Nosferatu redeems Dracula as a vampire.
