Knightfall Is The Underrated Medieval Series Deserving Of More Seasons

When I finished watching The Last Kingdom, I was looking desperately for something to satisfy my Dark Ages addiction. Knightfall showed up, and quickly I found myself hooked on the last years of the infamous Templars.

The Templars, led by the courageous, headstrong, but noble Templar Knight Landry, have shifted their attention to regaining a foothold in the Holy Land. They take their battle back to the Holy Land, and their battles become the Crusades.

It’s Good To Be Back!

Alright, Biters,

I have something a little different for you. Both friends, family and even coworkers have encouraged me to share about my autism. With that, I have not one but four YouTube cover artists for the price of one.

Biters meet Violet Orlandi, Addie Nicole of Halocene, Audra Miller of First to Eleven, and the GBM return of Lauren Babic. These four ladies are frequent collaborators. So, it’s kind of hard to talk about one without bringing up the others.

“Your Nightmare” by Vampyrëan featuring Chris Pohl Review

I enjoy checking out new music blind to me. Vampyrëan was one I had not heard before.

A Solo Project

Vampyrëan is the solo project from Vlad Janicek, a former member of Nosferatu. That right away got my attention.

I am familiar with Nosferatu and really enjoy their gothic rock-infused music. I then saw that Chris Pohl from Blutengel is featured on the track. That made me even more excited to listen.

Mainstream Horror Vs. Indie Horror

When we think about horror movies or series, we only think about the big screen names. But forced to be inside had me discover gems behind the curtains.

According To The Critiques

Mainstream vs. indie horror is a fair question. If we are talking about horror movies, titles like Halloween and Friday the 13th comes to mind. We can go older with The Exorcist and Psycho. It goes back to the 30s with Dracula and Frankenstein.

Horror is a genre that has been snubbed over the years, over decades! The general public sees horror as a genre without paying attention to all the subgenres. Horror is the tip of the iceberg, it’s what we see but everything underneath are the subgenres.

If this intro has not tipped my hand already, major spoiler alert for Tremors Shrieker Island.

Last night I queued up Netflix and saw a new tremors film had come out, so naturally, I had to watch it. This film hit all the familiar beats I know and love from this franchise, but it also did something I never expected and shook me to my core. They killed Burt Gummer.
